Here’s a little about myself.

I grew up in the small town of Strafford, Missouri, where I received my entire elementary through high school education.  I attended the First Baptist Church of Strafford, and my family was led to the Lord under Rev. Frank Stark’s wonderful ministry. Later, I attended High Street Baptist Church in nearby Springfield, and graduated with honors from Missouri State University, where I earned my BA degree with a double major in both Religious Studies and English (emphasis in the field of writing).

For as long as I can remember, I’ve enjoyed writing and reading, and I have enjoyed crafting my own stories.  I now reside with my husband, Randy, and our four incredible children in New England, where Randy serves as Vice President for Operations at Boston Baptist College.

When I’m not writing stories or teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.  When afforded the opportunity, I love taking trips along the beautiful New England coast.  Many of the places I write about are either locations which I have especially enjoyed visiting–whether in New England or the Midwest–or adaptations of them.
